Understanding God’s greatness is a lifetime pursuit.
I’ve never had a face-to-face encounter with God like Moses, or Isaiah, or Paul. My limited understanding of my great God has not come through one grand revelatory moment, but through years of sound teaching, Bible study, prayer, and looking for God in the everyday happenings of life.
“Today if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts…” (Psalm 95) I like that. Today if, not today when. Sometimes God is silent, and that’s okay. We’re called to listen with in open heart so we will hear and obey Him in case He has something to say today.
This blog is meant to encourage all those who are pursuing God. It’s a struggle sometimes, isn’t it? Some days it’s just hard, seemingly impossible, to do what we know is right.
Keep running the race. Keep fighting the fight. Your reward is coming!
